In particular, low oil pressure switches are not used for scroll compressors. Therefore, the monitoring
of the low oil pressure switch can be activated or deactivated by the parameter Oil dif.p.Z1/Z2 = Y
(menu 3-1).
Selection of the message text oil/HP fault
The oil differential pressure, the high-pressure at the pressure ports of every compressor, or both, can be
monitored via digital inputs with floating contacts. It can be selected using the parameter Text Oil/HP-F. Z1/Z2
(menu 3-1) which types of pressure switches should be monitored via these inputs in the respective circuit Z1
/Z2. The message text output for each Z1/Z2 circuit of the pack controller when the message inputs Z1/Z2
compressor oil differential pressure switch / HP cutout trip can be selected with these parameters:
Oil diff. pr. Cx
HP-Fault Cx or
Oil/HP-Fault Cx
The priority of this message for the Z1/Z2 circuits can be selected using the parameter Oil dif.p.C Z1/Z2 (menu
3-7). The pressure switches are open in the alarm state. If the pressure switch trips, the associated
compressor is switched off immediately and disabled for the following control processes. If it is reset, the
compressor is enabled.
HP fault message alarm delay
If the inputs of a Z1/Z2 circuit are configured as HP cutout Z1/Z2, an alarm message “HP-Fault Z1/Z2 Cx” can
be transmitted after a time delay:
The requirements for this are:
- Refrigerant R744 (CO2 ) is set in the Z1/Z2 circuit.
- The alarm input is enabled in the Z1/Z2 circuit with the parameter Oil dif.p.C Z Z1/Z2 = Y
- The alarm delay time Vzg.ÖL/HD-St.Z1/Z2 in the Z1/Z2 circuit is specified as greater than 0 minutes
- The alarm priority in the Z1/Z2 circuit is not equal to "--"
Once these conditions have been met, in the event of a compressor HP fault, an alarm message “HP-Fault Z1
/Z2 Cx” with the pre-selected message priority is not sent and entered into the log memory until after the delay
time has elapsed.
4.8.1.2 Monitoring of the compressor motor overload cutout
The compressor motor is monitored by the motor overload cutout. The auxiliary contact is open in the alarm
state (no signal at the input of the controller). If the motor overload cutout trips, the compressor is switched off
immediately and disabled for the following control processes. The compressor can be enabled again
automatically or manually if the motor overload cutout is reset. The type of compressor enable after tripping of
a motor overload cutout is defined using the parameter
(menu 3-1). With the entry of
Motorsch.sperr
Motsch.
, the compressor is switched off and permanently disabled with the tripping of the motor overload

cutout. A manual enable must be performed (menu 3-1
).
Freig. Z1/Z2-Verd.
The error message generated by the tripping of the motor overload cutout is not cancelled until after the reset
