Step 8 - Teach Sensing Start Position
After pressing Teach , you will see a window similar to
the one shown in Figure 6-11.
Place an unwelded part into the fixture. Press both
operate switches to jog the horn down to within 0.010 -
0.030 inches above the part. The stroke position of the
thruster will be shown in the Current Position box.
Once you are at the desired position, press
Set
to pro-
gram that distance. Select
Exit
, and follow instructions
to home the machine.

NOTE
By default, there is a 50 lbs. limit on the
amount of force a 20K servo will produce
while teaching a position. Different sized
servo presses will use a limit appropriate
to the size of the press.
