7 Servicing and maintenance
7.1 Target groups
Maintenance and servicing may only be performed by the following target groups. The
exact target group is clearly assigned the relevant activities.

Trainer
• Specially trained personnel
• Technical personnel
7.2 Safety instructions

DANGER
Danger of death due to gas leak
Observe the following rules during all work on gas-carrying components:
• All work on gas-carrying components may only be performed by authorized personnel.
• Check for escaping gas in the work area before working on gas-carrying components.
• A mobile gas detector must be carried in every area of the system for early detection of
escaping gas during maintenance.
• Check all lines and connections for leaks after working on gas-carrying components.

DANGER
Danger of death due to electrocution
Observe the following rules during all work on electric and electronic components:
• Accidental activation of the power sources can result in serious injuries. Disconnect the
power supply before all work.
• Check the correct grounding of the system before all work.
• Avoid electrostatic influences on electronic components to prevent damage to the
components.
• Carefully seal electric/electronic connections to avoid damage.

Danger of death due to incorrect tools
Only use low-sparking tools during all work.

WARNING
Incorrectly connected connections and cables can cause serious damage to the system.
Proceed carefully when connecting lines and cables.

WARNING
Danger of injury while working on the system
Sharp-edged, heated or iced components may cause injury while working on the system.
Wear proper protective clothing and only start work when all parts of the system have
cooled down to under +40 °C or have warmed up to over 10 °C.
