FTS 8000
The button on the remote control must be held down to
operate the flash over (gas-fired).
The maximum burning duration of the flash over (gas-
fired) is limited to 15 seconds. The flash over (gas-
fired) is monitored by a temperature sensor. If the
temperature does not rise significantly after the main
flame is ignited, the fireplace will be switched off
immediately. This means that no larger quantities of
uncombusted gas can occur.
If the grille rack on the ceiling in container 1 has been
fitted with hardboard plates, the flames of the fireplace
or fire basket may ignite the hardboard plates.
2.6.3 Flash over (wood-fired)
For operation the fireplace must be cladded with
uncoated, solvent-free hardboard plates. Chains are
fitted on the ceiling for mounting the hardboard
plates. On walls and the portal door, the hardboard
plates are placed on profiles and secured using
chains. Insert the hardboard plates into the intended
mounting devices in the fire room.
Only hardboard plates (5 or 6 mm) for approx. 12 m
2
.
Fit one layer of cladding to the intended mount on the
walls and ceiling.
The supplied fire basket can be suspended on
mounts in the side wall or positioned centrally underneath the hardboard plates on the
ceiling. Fill the fire basket with wood and use as an initial fire.

NOTICE
The flash over (gas-fired) can only be started if the portal door located to the right when
looking at the fireplace is fully open and the smoke barrier is fully raised.

DANGER
Danger of death due to lack of monitoring
The fire must never be permitted to burn without control or without monitoring.

WARNING
After the end of the exercise or in the event of an emergency, all doors must be opened
and the flue fully opened. Lock the smoke barrier horizontally.
