9.- MAINTENANCE

Daily remove any traces of detergent or liquids from the dispenser drawer.

Never use powdered or abrasive detergents for cleaning; use only water and soap.
−
Clean the water inlet filters once a month.
−
Never clean the exterior by water injection; functional parts of the machine could damage.
−
If you are not going to use the machine for a long time, vaseline oil all its iron steel surfaces.
−
An annual general revision is recommended.
−
It is advisable to check the condition of balance injectors once a year and clean them, if
necessary
−
It is advisable to clean the fan racks of the variator in the machines DFI-26 periodically
−
The metal grid in the motor cover should be periodically cleaned.
9.1.- Electrical and mechanical problems
Before calling the Service Centre, make sure of the following conditions,

Power is supplied to the machine.
−
Condition of fuses.
−
Voltage is the right one for the machine.
If the washing machine fails to get the required level of water, make sure,
−
The water mains tap is open.
−
The water inlet filter is not blocked.
−
The water pressure is between 2
÷
4 kg/cm
2
(28
÷
56 psi).
If the machine vibrates excessively, make sure,
−
None of the panel screws is loose.
If a power failure occurs,
−
The tub is drained and the door is blocked. If you want to take the laundry out of the washing
machine, open the door by pushing up the ring behind the lower lid.
