● Checking communication logs with
the Data Security Center
z
Up to 30 communication log entries can be stored.
If the maximum number of entries is exceeded,
older entries are overwritten first.
z
The communication log detail screen shows the
transmission results, dates, transmission details,
data sizes, results of transmission to the Data
Security Center, results of reception on the mobile
phone, i-concier phonebook update, and the
number of data left at the Data Security Center.

deletion method.
● Storing mail at the Data Security Center
Save i-mode mail and SMS in the FOMA terminal to
the Data Security Center.

If you have not subscribed to the service and try to
connect to the Data Security Center, a screen
appears indicating that you have not subscribed.

■ Restoring mail
Mail data stored at the Data Security Center can be
downloaded from the center site to the FOMA
terminal. For details on use, refer to “Mobile Phone
User’s Guide [i-mode] FOMA version”.

Center
Save images, etc. in the FOMA terminal to the Data
Security Center.

You cannot save SMS in the FOMA card (UIM) to
the Data Security Center.

A file attached to i-mode mail is deleted before the
mail is saved.

When images are inserted into received mail and
prohibited to be output from the FOMA terminal,
the images are deleted.

The “Color coding” setting is not saved.
z
If the subject or main text contains Chinese text
that cannot be converted to Japanese, the mail
cannot be stored at Data Security Center.

You cannot save an image larger than 100K bytes,
image prohibited to be output from the FOMA
terminal, pre-installed Deco-mail picture or
Deco-mail pictogram.
