Copying the FOMA terminal data to
the microSD card

copying method. Select the destination folder
depending on the data.
*: All data in the Received mail, Sent mail or
Bookmark folder are copied. To copy all data,
select “Copy to microSD” from the function menu
of the folder list screen.
■ Function menu of the detail screen
“Copy to microSD” on the detail screen is the same
function as “Copy this” on the list screen.
■ Function menu of the microSD manager screen
“Copy to microSD” under the function menu of the
microSD manager screen (p.340) is the same
function as “Copy all” on the list screen of the
Phonebook, Schedule, To Do list, Draft mail, Text
memo or Own dictionary. This function is also the
same as “Copy to microSD” on the folder list screen
of Received mail, Sent mail or Bookmark.

Still images recorded with 1Seg cannot be copied.

You cannot copy while the microSD card is being
accessed.

When you copy all data to the microSD card,
secret data (phonebook or schedule) are also
copied. However, data in the Secret folder are not
copied.
z
Pre-installed data cannot be copied to the
microSD card.
z
When the destination folder is full, a new folder is
created automatically and the data are saved to
the folder.
z
When you copy a single secret data (phonebook,
schedule), secret is released then the data is
saved.
z
When you copy a single phonebook entry, a
PushTalk phonebook entry is not copied.
z
To copy all My Profile data, perform “Display all
data” first.
z
When you receive a call, mail or alarm notification
while copying still images or movies to the
microSD card, copying to the microSD card is
interrupted.

A single i-schedule data is copied as a normal
Schedule data.
z
When all Schedule data are copied, i-schedule
data are not copied.
<Copy mail>

When you copy mail with i-

specification, information about i-

ppli activation
in the mail is deleted.

When you copy mail, the attached files may be
deleted depending on the file type.
<Copy image>

The file name is set as follows after copied:
• File name: NEC_mmmm (mmmm = 0001 to
9999)

You cannot copy data to the microSD card in the
following cases:
• The image is not JPEG, GIF or SWF
• The file size exceeds 2M bytes when copied
z
The file size may increase when copied to the
microSD card.

The file name is set as follows after copied:
• File name: MOLxxx (xxx = 001 to FFF:
hexadecimal)
