A type of two-dimensional codes
consisting of the horizontal and
vertical patterns to represent
numbers, alphabetic characters,
kanji, kana or pictograms. Some
QR codes express images, melodies or ToruCa.
One item can be divided into several QR codes.
* When the FOMA terminal scans the QR code on the
right above, the code is displayed as “ 株式会社 NTT
ドコモ (NTT DOCOMO, INC.)”.

A bar code consisting of vertical lines (bars) of
various widths and spaces to represent numbers,
alphabets or symbols.

The FOMA terminal cannot scan a code other
than a JAN code, QR code and CODE128. Some
bar codes may not be scanned depending on the
size.

Scanning may fail depending on the scratch, stain,
damage, print quality, the reflection of light or the
QR code version.

The scanning completion tone does not sound
while in Manner mode.
z
The Bar code reader can be activated from the
text entry screen. The scanned data is entered
into the text entry screen.

You may be unable to save a scanned image
depending on the image or file size.
z
You cannot save the scanned data to a microSD
card.
