The i-mode range is the same as the FOMA range
(the area in which calls can be made and received).
e
The i-mode menu can be displayed even when you
are out of range. However, you cannot send/receive
information to/from sites or via the Internet.

the “iMenu” screen (the first i-mode screen) appears.

Select “ENGLISH” and then press

Select “ 日本語 ” to return to the Japanese display.

The iMenu in English differs slightly from the iMenu in
Japanese.
e メニュー /検索 (Menu/Search), とくするメニュー
(tokusuru menu), ｉエリア (i-area), マイボックス (My
box), 料金＆お申込・設定 (Fee & application, settings)
and お知らせ (Information) are not shown on the
English iMenu.
e Generally, the What’s New site is updated every other
Monday.
e
English sites are displayed after entering Menu List
(sites differ from Japanese version).
e
Access news from DoCoMo and usage regulations
on What’s New.
Exiting i-mode

“ ” flashes, then “ ” disappears.

for 2 seconds or longer, and the
FOMA terminal is turned off.
Suspending i-mode

The standby screen appears.
