Cleaning and decontamination of the saliva ejector
Cleaning of the saliva ejector should be made as follows -
remove the saliva ejector itself (the tip), remove the saliva
ejector handpiece, remove the sieve, clean it and re-assemble. It is recommended to clean the sieve at least once a day.
Decontamination of the saliva ejector should be made at least once a day (e.g. after the completion of work) with SAVO
Prim agent in 1% concentration in the volume of min. 1 dcl of diluted solution by sucking through the tip of the saliva ejector.
After each use of the saliva ejector, clean the hose of the saliva ejector by rinsing it with clean water of ca 1 dcl after each
patient.

Cleaning and decontamination of the big and small aspirator
Pull out the aspirator tips (pos. 1 and 2), remove filters (pos. 3 and 4) from the aspirator hoses, clean (rinse) the filters
under running water and then return them back into the aspirator hoses, replace tips into the hoses.
Filters should be cleaned at least once a day.
When the small and big aspirator has been used, clean the hose thereof by rinsing it with approx. 1 dcl of clean water
after each patient.

Cleaning of the sieve of the separation block
Pull the lid and the sieve of rough particles out of the separating block and then clean (rinse) them under running water
and return back into the separation block. The cleaning should be done at least once a day.
