Button to change the turbine operation mode.
Press the button to change the mode of the turbine operation. It has two conditions:
-mode of controlled output
.
-mode of uncontrolled output
, output always 100%.
The button is active only if the unit is equipped with the accessories for controlling the output for the turbine.
Changing working mode of the foot controller lever/pedal
The button is active only if the output control mode is enabled and if the instrument is at rest.

Lever/Pedal in discrete (jump) mode
It indicates discrete mode of the pedal, i.e. after pressing the foot controller pedal / lever, the controlled
power jumps to maximum value and does not change any more with the pedal position.
By pressing this button, you can switch to the second mode:

Lever/Pedal in analogue (linear) mode
After pressing the foot controller pedal / lever, the controlled power increases proportionally according to
the deviation of the foot controller pedal / lever up to the maximum value (at the full deviation of the foot
controller pedal / lever). By pressing this button, you can switch to the previous mode.
Button to turn the instrument cooling on / off.
Press the button
briefly to turn the set type of the cooling of the instrument on / off .
By pressing and holding the button for ca 2 seconds the
„pop-up “ is displayed with the following options:
Press the respective button to select the desired type of the cooling - water /
, or
spray /
, or cancel the instrument cooling type by pressing the button
„ESC“. To save the changed type of the instrument
cooling permanently into the memory, first press the button of saving into the memory
. The new condition of saving
the data into memory is indicated by change in the colour of the icon
. This condition can be cancelled by pressing the
button again.
Button to correct the patient position
Press the button briefly to display the screen to control the basic movements of the chair and then the patient
position can be corrected. To return, press the button ESC or activate the instrument. It is still possible to correct
patient position (while instrument is activated) with the basic moves of the chair via foot controller.
When a parameter is changed, while the instrument is taken out of its holder, without subsequent pressing the button
, the changed parameter will be saved only temporarily. The change will remain saved until the instrument program
has been changed (Prog 1
– 9). The change will be maintained ever after the dental unit has been turned on /off. To cancel
the temporary setting, press the button
and at the same time select the current program. Data will be over-written with
the data from the memory for the said program. To save the change of the parameter permanently into the respective
program, press the button
after the change
.
To activate the turbine, take it and move the foot controller lever to the right and/or the press the pedal of the combined
foot controller. When moved to the extreme position, the turbine has the ouput displayed. To stop the activity, move the
lever (pedal) of the foot controller to the starting position. Following the termination tool automatically goes blow through for
0.5 seconds. CHIPBLOWER function is recommended to use after the activity has been finished. The turbine output can
be set by means of the b
/ -
within the range of 0-100% with the instrument taken in rest or in operation and the
lever /pedal of the foot controller is in maximum position. When working with the instrument, the output can be adjusted
continuously by pedal or by the lever of the foot controller in the analogue mode from 0 up to maximum set value.
After the operation time of the turbine has reached the lubrication interval, the instrument lubrication alarm
is displayed
and audible signal sounds. This will be repeated each time the instrument is used until the information about lubrication
need is cancelled by pressing the button OK in the alarm screen.
