Button to assign program for switching from foot controller
By pressing on appropriate program, the program is included
or excluded from programs switching via
foot controller side button.
If the foot controller function P# has been chosen, then by repeated pressing of this button, all the included
programs are being switched cyclically towards sequentially higher program number. After the included program achieves
highest position number, then it again gets position with lowest sequential number.
Button for editing the program name.
Press and hold the button for ca 2 seconds. Alphanumeric keyboard is displayed by means of which the text
can be edited. Maximum length of the text is 20 characters.
Button for the selection of operation mode.
The button is active only for instrument that enables it. Press the button to display a
„pop-up“ with the mode
options (depending on instrument type):
Press the respective button to select the desired mode or cancel the selection of the mode by pressing the button
„ESC“. If
you want to save the new mode permanently into the memory, first press the button of saving into the memory
. The
new condition of saving the data into the memory is indicated by change in the colour of the icon
. To cancel the
condition, press the button again.
Button for setting the amount of cooling water.
Press the button to start the setting mode in which the buttons whose values can be changed are displayed
in red. Change the parameter value by means of the buttons +/- . The new value is saved temporarily (until
the change of the program number) by pressing the button of the parameter being set again or permanently
into the program by means of the button
. The new value can be entered also directly via numerical keyboard after
pressing the button
. The button is active only if the instrument cooling is turned ON.
Button to turn the instrument light on / off.
Press the button to turn the instrument illumination on -
/ off -
,if it is possible for the instrument in
question.
Changing working mode of the foot controller lever/pedal
The button is active only if the output control mode is enabled and if the instrument is at rest.

Lever/Pedal in discrete (jump) mode
It indicates discrete mode of the pedal, i.e. after pressing the foot controller pedal / lever, the controlled
power jumps to maximum value and does not change any more with the pedal position.
By pressing this button, you can switch to the second mode:

Lever/Pedal in analogue (linear) mode
After pressing the foot controller pedal / lever, the controlled power increases proportionally according to
the deviation of the foot controller pedal / lever up to the maximum value (at the full deviation of the foot
controller pedal / lever). By pressing this button, you can switch to the previous mode.
Button to turn the instrument cooling on / off.
Press the button briefly to turn the instrument cooling on/off. When a parameter is changed, while the
instrument is taken out of its holder, without subsequent pressing the button
, the changed parameter
will be saved only temporarily. The change will remain saved until the instrument program has been changed (Prog 1
–
9).
The change will be maintained ever after the dental unit has been turned on /off. To cancel the temporary setting, press
the button
and select the current program. Data will be over-written with the data from the memory for the said
program. To save the change of the parameter permanently into the respective program, press the button
after
the change
.
