To Remove the Keyboard and Mouse and Their Cables
To remove the mouse or tablet, pull the end of the mouse or
tablet cable out of its connector.
To remove the keyboard, pinch the tab on the end of the
keyboard cable. Then pull the cable out of its connector.
To detach the keyboard-mouse cable from the back of the
system unit, loosen the connector screws. Then pull the cable
away from the keyboard-mouse connector.
To Install the Keyboard and Mouse and Their Cables
To install the keyboard-mouse cable, firmly push the
D-connector end of the cable onto the keyboard-mouse connector
on the back of the system unit. Then tighten the two screws on
the cable connector.
To connect the mouse or tablet, turn the connector on the end of
the mouse or tablet cable until the icon on the connector is up
and aligned with the mouse icon on the mouse connector of the
keyboard-mouse cable connector block. Then push the mouse or
tablet connector into the keyboard-mouse cable.
To connect the keyboard, hold the keyboard cable connector
so that the tab on the connector faces down. Then press the
connector into the keyboard connector on the keyboard-mouse
cable connector block until the tab snaps into place.
Finally, insert the flap on the keyboard-mouse cable connector
block under the back of monitor base.
LPFK and PFD Hardware
The system supports the lighted programmable function key
(LPFK) and the programmable function dials (PFD) options.
For maintenance information about the LPFK and PFD options,
refer to the documentation supplied with those options.
