Memory Modules
Memory Module Hardware Description
The system module memory slots hold up to eight pairs of
2-Mbyte MS01-AA or MS01L-AB memory modules or 8-Mbyte
MS01-CA memory modules. The 2-Mbyte MS01-AA and the
8-Mbyte MS01-CA modules look identical except for the location
of the etch part number. The different memory module types
are shown in Figure 5-9, Figure 5-10, and Figure 5-11.
The memory modules are installed in pairs starting with the
two slots nearest the back of the system unit. All of the memory
modules in a system must be the same size.
Note:
Do not combine 2-Mbyte and 8-Mbyte memory modules in the
same system.
Figure 5-12 shows the memory module slot numbers.
