While watching the activity LED
on the DECserver 90L+, the LED
should blink when characters are
typed at the terminal. If not, check
that the activity LED blinks when
characters are typed on terminals
connected to other ports. If the
activity LED does blink for other
ports, the wiring between your
terminal and the DECserver 90L+
or the terminal itself is faulty.
You cannot connect to
the service
The service is not
available.
Check for service availability.
LAT is not installed on
the host system.
Verify that LAT Version 5.0 or
higher is running on the host
system.
It is a network problem.
Check the network LED, it should
be on. If not, check the network
connection. If the LED is on, you
can check network connectivity by
running MOP loopback or a MOP
console carrier session.
