6.1.3 Queue Count Area functionality
After the head zone has been occupied by a person for the required period of time, the camera will begin to count all tracks that
pass a set of queue constraints. To be included in the queue count, a track must pass the following constraints:
•
Must pass counting constraints (minimum height, maximum height, and cart filter).
•
Must be within the queue count area (green and pink zone).
•
Must be within the queue count area for longer than the queue minimum time.
•
The first person in the queue count area must be within a specified distance from people in the head zone ( Track Dist field on
the advanced pop-up) for a specified amount of time ( Track Time on the advanced pop-up).
•
Each additional person in the queue must be within a specified distance ( Track Dist from the advanced pop-up) from either
the people in the head zone or any other people currently included in the queue. All people counted in the queue must remain
within the Track Distance threshold for a specified amount of time (Track Time from the advanced pop-up) before they are
considered to be part of the queue.
•
For queue wait times to be counted, the track must also start outside of the queue count area or within the queue tail zone.
6.1.4 Queue Count Area constraints
Min time: Sets the minimum time that a person must remain in the queue count area before they are eligible to be counted in the
queue length.
Track Dist: Defines the maximum distance, in centimeters, that a person entering the queue must be from a person already in
the queue in order to be counted. If the distance between people in the queue meets he distance threshold for greater than the
time threshold (Track Time) the track is considered in the queue. The track must also meet the counting constraints in order to be
counted, otherwise the track is not included in the queue length calculation.
Queue Minimum Track Distance
