2. In the Height Filter field, enter the minimum height (cm) that a person must exceed to be counted by the counting,
queueing, or service applications. Objects shorter than this height may still be tracked but will not be counted when they
cross counting lines and enter queue or service boxes. The default value for this field is 120 cm.
3. Click Save . The system will now filter out all tracks shorter than the value entered in the height Filter field.
4.5 Setting Background Adaptation
The DIGIOP® 3D camera will update its background image when objects remain in the area for extended periods of time. A setting
on the tracking.html page determines how long the camera waits before it considers those objects to be part of the normal
background environment. This adaptation happens more quickly for counting applications than for queueing, service, and tracking
applications.
NOTE
If you have accessed the tracking.html page and changed the
Update Frequenc
y field from one of the two defaults, 120 for
Counting or 300 all other applications, this check box is disabled.
Complete the following steps to set the background adaptation:
1. Access the Calibration page.
2. If the site is a counting only site, select the
Counting
check box. Otherwise, leave the Counting check box blank.
NOTE
If a DIGIOP® 3D camera is performing both Counting and Queuing/Service, do not select the Counting check box.
3. Click Save to save the settings.
4.6 Ensure the tracking system is functioning properly
Once you have completed the steps in the previous sections, complete the following steps to verify that the camera is tracking
people:
1. Access the DIGIOP® 3D camera Configuration application.
2. Click either the Counting tab. The selected page appears.
