HS%
Purpose “Static” or “dynamic” control modes: Read or set the automated pressure control hold limit as
% of range.
“Monotonic” control mode: Read or set the “target limit” as a % of range.
Command
Query “HS% limit ”

Arguments Limit: The limit in % span of the active range.
Remarks The “hold” or “target” limit can be read and set as a percent of the span. The “hold” limit
applies to “static” and “dynamic” control modes only. These limits are part of the ready criteria.
The “target” limit applied to “monotonic” control mode only. If this program message is used
to set the hold or target limit, the PPCH will then use CUSTOM control settings

ID
Purpose Read or set the user defined instrument identification label.
Command
Query “ID string ”

Arguments String: An alphanumeric string up to 12 characters long.
Remarks The user defined ID label can be used to allow the user to “tag” the PPCH with a unique
identifier. This ID is stored in non-volatile memory and cannot be erased by a power failure,
system fault or reset

IF
Purpose Increase the pressure quickly.
Command “IF n ”
Classic “IF= n ”
Arguments ‘0’
‘1’
Stops the pressure generation.
Starts an ascending generation at a fast fixed rate.
Remarks The up control valve is used to establish a fixed rate of 2% FS/sec. The valve is closed as the
pressure approaches the target. Care must be used, as the pressure will not stop increasing
until the valve is closed, or the upper limit is exceeded
