a. Position the device or devices in the rack-mount tray as shown in Figure 10 on page 45.
Although the figure shows two devices, you can also use the following procedure to
install one device.

b. Use a number-1 Phillips screwdriver to install the screws that secure the device to the
rack-mount tray.
c. Have one person grasp the sides of the rack-mount tray, lift it, and position it in the
rack.
d. Align the bottom hole in each side of the rack-mount tray with a hole in each rack rail
as shown in Figure 11 on page 45, making sure the rack-mount tray is level.

e. Have a second person install the 10-32 screws with washers into each of the two
aligned holes on the rack. Use a number-2 Phillips screwdriver to install the mounting
screws.
