4.5.5 Graph Display
The Graph button as shown in Figure 35 changes the test screen from numerical readouts to a realtime
plot of acquired data. With the graph, users can view the fluctuations and overall trends of the infusion test
(
Figure 36
).
The measured value is plotted against the elapsed time of the test. As data is acquired, the horizontal time
axis will automatically expand and the vertical axis will automatically scale so that the acquired data fits
within the graph boundaries.
Graph options depend on the test in progress, as follows:

PCA Pump Tests Flow measured over short intervals ∆T ranging from 10
to 60 seconds, as set by the instantaneous flow window

Flow Rate Test Ratio of the total volume delivered to the elapsed test

Flow Rate Test A combined graph of both instantaneous and average
flow rates
Average % Error
Flow Rate Test The error of the average flow as compared to the ml/h
rate setting of the device under test
Pressure
Occlusion Test Pressure developed by the device under test into a
blocked IV line
