4.8.7.3 Equipment information settings

Setting

Description

Caps lock ON

Disabled

Affects data entry of equipment information via the soft
keyboard, including ID or control number. If enabled,
letters a-z will appear as uppercase A-Z. For this setting to
take effect, you will need to enable the "Auto capitalization"
text correction feature of the soft or "virtual" keyboard on
the tablet. This is done via the Android Settings menu.

4.8.7.4 Test record settings

By default, vPad-IV will include a "next test due" date in the
Test Record, if such a date was input during the test. Enable
this setting to prevent a due date from being included in
Test Records. If enabled, the setting will also prevent users
from entering such dates via the

Equipment Information

Labor time is
mandatory

Disabled

Technician labor time may be entered on completion of a
test when the Test Record is saved. If this setting is enabled,
the user cannot finish a test unless they enter their labor
time.
