vPad-IV OPERATORS MANUAL

Example

A manufacturer's annual inspection procedure for an enteral feeding pump requires the device to be tested
at a rate of 125 ml/h. According to the manufacturer's procedure, the DUT is run for 15 minutes after
which the DUT output is then measured for 30 minutes. The DUT accuracy is specified as ±7%, however,
when tested with water the DUT will over-deliver by +4%. There is no requirement to determine the flow
during the startup phase.

The manufacturer's protocol is configured as shown in

Figure 26

and
