vPad-IV OPERATORS MANUAL

5 Calibration and Maintenance

5.1 Calibration

Calibration of vPad-IV by a Datrend Authorized Service Center is recommended on an

annual

basis, and is

required

to extend the product warranty. The basic one (1) year warranty on the Modules can be extended

to a maximum of two (2) years provided that annual calibration is performed by a Datrend Authorized
Service Center on an

annual

basis. Refer to the Calibration Decal applied to each Module to determine its

calibration status.

5.2 General Maintenance

Except as specified in Section 5.4 below, vPad-IV contains no user serviceable parts. Maintenance of vPad-
IV requires return of the Module(s) to a Datrend Authorized Service Center for repair.

Opening the case

of a vPad-IV Module for any reason, other than according to the instructions of Section 5.4, will
void the warranty and may compromise user safety.

The exterior of the Module may be cleaned with a soft, lint free, damp cloth using a mild detergent. Use of
other cleaning agents on the touchscreen of the vPad tablet may result in scratching, discolouration,
streaking or even failure.

Service must be performed by a factory trained, authorized service agent.
Damage to internal flow and/or pressure sensors may result if Datrend
service procedures are not followed.

Safety of the operator may be compromised if the instructions in this manual
are not followed, or if vPad-IV is used for a purpose not specified in this
manual.
