Gantry Components

Adjusting X-Axis Parallelism

This procedure is to adjust the X-axis parallelism of the gantry stage. This procedure can be
performed with access to the left/right of the machine in production line. This section shows
the procedure performed when the machine is not in production line.

To adjust the X-axis parallelism

1. Turn off all electrical power to the system. For more information, refer to the section

Shutting Down the System

2. Set a target within 5 μm for the reference guideway.

3. Set a target within 5 μm for the following guideway.
