5. TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
5.1 Set Points
The set point is a target temperature; the activation and deactivation of the various
stages is based on this reference temperature.
In addition, a temperature curve can be enabled to obtain an automatic adjustment of
the set points over a given period of time. The target temperature is thus always
adapted to the animals’ needs as they are growing.
The controller can operate using the 3 following set points:
MAIN SET POINT
- If a separate set point is used during night, the main set point is only
used during the day.
- If the night set point is not used, the main set point is permanently used.
The main set point can be adjusted automatically over time by using a curve.
NIGHT SET POINT
This is the target temperature during night. This set point can be adjusted auto-
matically over time by using a curve. Refer to section 4.4 to enable the night set
point.
EMPTY ZONE SET POINT
The
Empty Zone Set Point is used as the reference temperature for the operation
of empty zone heating outputs. It is also used as the reference temperature for the
whole house when the controller is in clean mode. Refer to section 4.9 for further
information on the empty zones & clean mode.
