IGNITION COIL AND FLYWHEEL REMOVAL

1.

Loosen three screws (2) and remove the remaining four screws (1) attaching the flywheel housing as shown,
then remove the housing

(Figure 13-7, Page 13-7)

2.

Disconnect the ignition coil (11) from its primary lead wire at the connector (12). Remove the two bolts (10) and
take out the ignition coil

Hold the flywheel (4), not the fan (7), with a strap wrench (5) and, using a 25 mm socket, remove the flywheel nut
(and flat washer) by turning it counterclockwise
