CI-154 User’s Manual

Page 47

When the login prompt comes up, type in the user name and press return, type in
the password and press return.

Once connected the following screen should appear.

Connect by selecting option 1, 2 or 3. Option 1 will configure# the counter to send
End Of Sample data to the Telnet client window. Each time the counter completes a
sample the data collected for that sample is sent to the Telnet client. Selecting
Option 2 will configure the counter to not send End Of Sample data at the end of a
sample. Characters sent to the counter will be echoed back to the Telnet client.
Selecting Option 3 will configure the counter in the same way as Option 2 but
characters will not be echoed back to the Telnet client.

Once connected, the full Telnet command set maybe used to configure and query
the particle counter. A number of commands have parameters that are used to
configure the unit. These parameters are limited to alphanumeric characters
including Comma (,), Tilde (~), Colon (:), Period (.), and Number Sign (#).
