Advanced Port Setup – Voice Parameters 

The Switch Module Port configuration screen is shown below:

5. Setting 

the 

Voice

 Parameters – Voice parameters are used to “fine tune” voice 

processing. Users will have to disconnect from the Switch Module and reconnect for 
any changes to these parameters to take affect. 

It should be noted that the default settings for the voice parameters are usually sufficient 
and should not require adjustment. It is, therefore, recommended that a few “test” calls be 
made to identify any voice quality issues prior to configuring the voice parameters. The 
Voice Parameters screen is shown on the next page:
