OptiFlex® 3 Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) Therapy Unit

6 REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT

6.2 MANUAL MOVEMENT OF THE CARRIAGE 

When the unit fails electronically the carriage can be 
moved manually.

Unplug the unit from the power source before 
attempting any removal or replacement procedures 
to prevent electrical shock.

C. Manual Carriage Adjustment

  

1. 

Refer

Section 6.1, part C

 Rear Cover 

    Removal 

and 

Replacement

 to remove the 

 

    rivets from the Rear Cover of the unit.

 

  2. Lift the bottom of the Rear Cover just enough 

 

    to be able to manipulate the Pulley. Rotate the 

 

    Pulley, moving the Carriage until the Cover 

 

    can be completely removed.
