Installing the Y-Axis Drag

Chain Bracket

Remove the two top screws holding the motor to
the Left Y-Axis Plate as shown below.

NOTE:

The Y-Axis Plate ships with shorter

screws holding the motor to accommodate all
three sizes of Shapeoko machines. The longer
M5x16mm screws for the XXL are needed to
attach the remaining Drag Chain Bracket. The
M5x16mm screws can be found in the bag
labeled Drag Chain Bracket.

The shorter M5x10mm screws you just removed
can be set aside and will not be needed to
complete the Shapeoko XXL assembly.
