Data Output Setup
Print Line by Line/Delete - The Report, as selected by the procedure, is
automatically printed one line at a time after the completion of each count
record. The count data is
automatically
deleted from the unit’s internal
memory after printing.
Print End of Group - The Report, as selected by the procedure, is
automatically printed after the completion of the counting group. The
count data is
not
deleted from the unit’s internal memory after printing.
Print EOG/Delete - The Report, as selected by the procedure, is
automatically printed after the completion of the counting group. The
count data is
automatically
deleted from the unit’s internal memory after
printing.
Print LBL/iLink/Delete – The Report, as selected by the procedure, is
automatically printed one line at a time after the completion of each count
record. Data from the sample count is then transferred via
i
Link into a
Microsoft SQL Server Database. The count data is automatically deleted
from the unit’s internal memory after printing and transfer.
Print EOG/iLink/Delete – The Report, as selected by the procedure, is
automatically printed after the completion of the counting group. Data
from the sample group count is then transferred via
i
Link into a Microsoft
SQL Server Database. The count data is automatically deleted from the
unit’s internal memory after printing and transfer.
iLink/Delete – At the end of each count, data is transferred via
i
Link into a
Microsoft SQL Server Database. The count data is automatically deleted
from the unit’s internal memory after transfer.
Output Configuration
By default, the interface to a host computer running iLink is USB. The RS-232
interface may be used independently to do a unidirectional data dump of count results
after each count completes. The RS-232 data dump alone will
never
delete data. If the
data dump is on, it will function in addition to any other output mode selected in the
Output Mode Menu. As an alternative to USB, the RS-232 interface may be used to
communicate with a host computer running
i
Link. In this case the
i
Matic USB
interface is disabled and no RS-232 unidirectional data dump is available.

To access the Output Configuration Menu, press the
Setup
key.

Using the arrow keys, position the cursor “>” to item “16” Data Output Setup
and then press the
Enter
key.
3.
Using the arrow keys, position the cursor “>” to item “2” Output
Configuration and then press the
Enter
key. Select the desired configuration
as described below:
