4.4.8 MLGPS Maintenance
The Maintenance Menu is available at the top of the Logger form, as shown in Figure 4.4.8 A. It contains three
functions:
Reprocess Solution
,
Reset GPS Receiver
and
Update Firmware
.

Reprocess Solution
‒ Solutions can be reprocessed for a given range of data. For example, during the initial
installation of a rover, position stability can be monitored for 1-2 weeks before beginning import of data into the
database. Upon review of the results, outlier filter parameters may need to be readjusted, and the solution can
be reprocessed afterwards.
Selecting the Reprocess Solutions option opens the GPS Solution Reprocessing form, from which the desired
solution and period for reprocessing can be set.

Note
‒ If data is reprocessed for a period that was previously imported into the database, the new data will not
overwrite the old data in the database automatically. Such data should be removed manually from the database first
and then automated data import can bring this newly processed data into the database.
