Offline Mode
The
Offline Mode
options allow for configuring when and for how long to power on the stations radio (Wi-Fi).
(Figure 4.4.2 F)
Radio Power-On Interval
- Always ON or an interval from 5 minutes to 1 day can be selected. Models that are
compatible with Offline Mode collect and write raw data to the SD card 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365
days a year, without interruption, even if the Wi-Fi connection is lost. Once the connection is made to
MultiLogger, data can be retrieved from the MLGPS module’s SD card. Models that are not compatible with
Offline Mode, may experience gaps in data if a Wi-Fi connection is lost.
Radio Power-On Offset (Sec)
- Select the Offset, in seconds, when the radio (Wi-Fi) should turn on. The
default setting is 0, however setting an offset of -8 or similar will turn on the radio prior to data collection, this
allows for enough time for the radio to boot up.
Radio Idle (min)
- The default value is 1 min. Setting a higher value, instructs the radio to remain powered on
for additional time and may be useful for troubleshooting connectivity issues. Once the set time has passed
with no activity from MLGateway, either the collection fails or there is no data to collect, the radio powers off
until next interval.
Raw Data Initial Date
- The earliest date from which MultiLogger will collect raw data files from the MLGPS
module. Once the first file is downloaded the system continues downloading new files from that point. By
default, the Raw Data Initial Date is set to "Today".
