9 - Idler Axle And Tension Arm Removal And Installation

STEP 4

Remove the O-ring (1) from the collar ring or the axle
if it remained on the axle.

NOTE:

If only replacing the axle or O-ring, proceed

to Step 19.

For tension arm removal proceed to Step 5.

Tension Arm Removal

STEP 5

Remove the retaining bolt (1) and washer (2) from
the tension arm pin.

NOTE:

The tension arm is located on the front of the

24D18C model frame and on the rear of the 30/
36D23MC and 30/36D22MC frames.

Support the tension arm and remove the pin (1).

Lift the tension arm out of the lower frame.
