4 - 24D18C Drive Wheel Seal And Bearing Replacement

STEP 8

Use the 2P-0084 Locknut Socket to remove the
spindle nut (1).

STEP 9

Use the 2P-0080 Spindle Extraction Tool (1) as
shown to push the spindle assembly from the outer
bearing cone.

STEP 10

Use the hoist to remove the spindle assembly (1)
from the undercarriage.

STEP 11

If the seal did not remain on the spindle assembly,
remove the main (1) seal from the drive spindle
housing.

NOTE:

If only replacing the main seal proceed to

Step 20. If replacing the bearings proceed to Step
12.
