8 - Midroller Axle Removal And Installation

STEP 4

Use a press to remove the axle from each collar ring
(1).

IMPORTANT:

Support the back side (2) of the collar

rings (1) evenly and close to the axle when pressing
the axle from the rings.

STEP 5

Remove the O-ring (1) from the collar ring or the axle
if it remained on the axle.

NOTE:

If only replacing the axle proceed to Step 10.

If replacing the rubber joint or pivot arm, proceed to
Steps 6 through 9.

STEP 6

Remove the two mounting bolts (1) from the axle
mount assembly.

STEP 7

Use a press to remove the rubber joint (1) from the
pivot arm (2).

NOTE:

The rubber joint is available from Camso

Service Parts as an individual part but installing the
rubber joint involves special tools and can be very
difficult. The pivot arm with a rubber joint installed is
available from Camso Service Parts and would not
require Step 8.
