Install a new O-ring (1) on the spindle cover or new
sight glass cover (2).

NOTE:

Coat the O-ring (1) with clean petroleum jelly

to hold the O-ring in position during assembly.

NOTE:

The solid steel spindle cover is on older

model 36D22MC and 36D23MC models only.

STEP  33

Install the cover (1). Tighten the mounting screws (2)
to 12 N•m (8 ft-lb).
