8.8 Adjusting Ground Wheel Pressure

1. Park rake on level surface.

2. Engage tractor parking brake and/or place

transmission in “Park”.

3. Close the machine to transport position and

install transport lock pin (C) through arm
support brackets. Fasten with spring-locking pin
(D).

4. (See Adjusting Wheel Pressure) Remove ring

pin (B), pull out the Cam (A), rotate to desired
hole position, push the Cam in and fix with
locking pin (B).

8.9 Adjusting the Tongue Clevis

The position of the Clevis (E) will also have an
affect on the ground pressure. Because tractor
drawbar heights vary, the clevis should be adjusted
so the wings are level to the ground., This ensure
equal pressure of the rake wheels to the ground,
front to back.

NOTE:

The clevis (E) can also be flipped upside

down from position shown for more adjustment if
needed.
