RELOCATING THE WINGFRAMES ON BSR MODELS
For shipping purposes the BSR8 Models are shipped with the Wing Frames mounted to the extension arms in
the forward two holes in the Wing Frame.
The Wing Frames must be relocated to the two rear mounting holes. This should be performed prior to
attaching the Rake Wheels to the Rake Arms to reduce the amount of weight to be handled.
This procedure on the BSR8 will place two Rake Wheels in front of the mount location and two Rake Wheels
behind the mounting location. This will balance the machine allowing for an even raking weight distribution to
the Rake Wheels in field use.
Refer to Recharging the Hydraulic System.
The Rake Arms pose a (Pinch / Crushing) Hazard while handling the Wing Frames. If
possible us an overhead lift and straps to lift and support the Wing Frame while relocating.
Procedure
1. Remove and retain the spring pin (A) and hex nut (B).
2. Remove pin (c) and capscrew (D).
3. With the Wingframe Assembly properly supported, slide the Wing Frame with Mount (G) still attached off
the Extension Arm.
4. Remove hexnuts and washers (E) and pull capscrews (F) and Mount (G) from location (H).
5. Move Mount (G) to location (I), align holes, place capscrews (F) through Mount (G) and Wing Frame
Assembly. Place hexnuts and washers (E) to capscrews (F) and tighten.
6. Place Win Frame with mount back on Extension Arm. Place capscrew (D) through Mount (G) and
Extension Arm and hexnut (B). Re-install Pin (C) and secure with spring pin (A).
