HYDRAULIC PLUMBING INSTALLATION FOR KICKER WHEEL
Before beginning this procedure, make sure all hydraulic pressure has been relived from
the Rake Hydraulic System.
1. Disconnect hydraulic hose (A) from 90º fitting on the base end of the LH wing cylinder.
2. Disconnect hydraulic hose (B) from 90º fitting on the rod end of the LH wing cylinder.
3. Install the 9/16”-18JIC male x 9/16”-18JIC male x 3/8” NOT “T” fitting (C) (use Teflon tape at this
connection) to Hydraulic Ball Valve.
4. Install the (use Teflon tape at this connection) 3/8 NPT x 3/4” O-Ring boss, straight fitting (D) to the
Hydraulic Ball Valve (E).
5. Install the Ball Valve using the 3/4” “O-Ring Boss” fitting in the port of the Rod End on the Kicker Wheel
Cylinder.
6. Install the “T” adapter (F) “O-Ring Boss” end in the cylinder port at the Base End of the Kicker Wheel
Cylinder.
7. Attach the 25” long hose to the “T” on the all Valve (E) and the 90º fitting on the base end of the Wing
Cylinder.
8. Attach the 28” long hose (H) to the “T” adaptor in the Base End port of the Kicker Wheel Cylinder.
9. Re-attach Hydraulic Hose (A) to the “T” on the Ball Valve (E).
10. Re-attach Hydraulic Hose (B) to the “T” o the Base End of the Kicker Wheel Cylinder.
11. Tighten all fittings.
Note: When all connections are correct the kicker wheel will lower as the wings
lower. It will raise when the wings are raised. To keep the kicker wheel in the
raise position close the ball valve by rotating the lever counter-clockwise as
viewed from above.
