SETTING UP REAR RAKE ARMS FOR USE
For shipping purposes the four rear rake arms are assembled opposite from the working position and MUST be
placed in the proper working position.
1. Remove the Spirol Pin retaining the STOP (Figure 1).
2. Remove Stop (Figure 1)
3. Slide the Rake Arms out of the pivot tubes, rotate 180º (Figure 1).
4. Replace Rake Arms in the pivot tubes on the outside of the Wing Frame (Figure 2).
5. Replace Stops on the Rake Arms to the inside of the Wing Frame and orient the same way as the front
stops (Figure 2).
6. Reinstall the Spirol Pins (Figure 2).
The back two Rake Arm Springs are shipped from
the factory with the springs unattached to the wing
frame assembly for shipping purposes and must be
attached prior to use.
Remove the fasteners in the mounting bracket and
retain for re-installation.
Extend the spring back t the slot on the mounting
bracket and place in the slot.
Place the capscrew back through the hole and
install the larger flatwasher to the opposite side.
Place the smaller washer to the outside of the larger
washer. Reinstall the hex nut and tighten.
