ATTACHING THE RAKE WHEELS
The Rakes are shipped from the factory with the appropriate number of rake wheels for the model stored atop
the mainframe.
This procedure should be performed with the wings in the lowered position.
NOTE: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LOWER THE WINGS UNTIL YOUR ARE SURE THE SYSTEM IS FULLY
CHARGED WITH HYDRAULIC FLUID. REFER TO “CHARGING THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM”.
1. Remove the nut and clamp plate holding the rake wheels to the mainframe and carefully lift the rake
wheels from the mainframe.
2. The hubs have the lug bolts already in place. Align the mounting holes on the rake wheel with the lug bolts
on the hub. The clamp plates holding the times will be toward the hub. Apply a 3/8” hexnut and flatwasher
(provide in bag of fasteners) to each lug bolt and tighten.
How to Identify Left Hand and Right Hand Wheels
Lean the rake wheels against a wall with the tine mounting clamp plates facing inward.
A. - If the last bend in the tines curve is in a clockwise direction, it is a Left Hand Rake Wheel.
B. - If the last bend in the tines curve is in a Counter Clockwise direction, it is a Right Hand Rake Wheel.
