Assembling the boiler block 7

Take the nuts off the threaded studs.
z
Push the flat gasket over the feed pipe.
z
Push the feed pipe with the connecting block and flat
gasket into the upper boiler hub at the rear of the
boiler.
z
Locate the connecting block on the threaded studs,
and tighten the four nuts by hand.
z
Evenly tighten the connecting block nuts diagonally
using a torque wrench (torque: maximum 60 Nm).
Seal connections that are not required using the plugs
supplied. When the boiler is supplied as a pre-
assembled block, these plugs will already have been
fitted.
z
Insert plugs with flat gaskets into the connections
that are surplus to requirements.
7.1.10 Sealing the sensor well
z
Seal the sensor well R ¾ from the top into the Rp ¾
tapped hole of the connecting block test port.
