7.1.2 Driving nipples home

Clean the nipples with a cloth soaked in white spirit.
z
Evenly coat the nipples with red lead putty.
z
Insert the nipples straight into the upper and lower
hub of the rear section and hammer home securely
with alternate heavy blows.
z
Remove any burrs which might have been created
with a file.
7.1.3 Preparing the central section
Prepare the centre section the same way as the rear
section (

Afterwards, the nipples should protrude
approx. 30 mm from the respective
