on periphery of wheel centre provide location for stainless
steel nave plate.

Wheel location and retention on hubs by four f in

U.N.F. studs and nuts tightened to 38 to 45 lbf ft (5-2 to
6-2 kgf m).

Wheel tolerances

1. Wobble—The lateral variation measured on the

vertical inside face of a flange must not exceed

0*045 in (1*143 mm).

2. Lift—On a truly mounted and revolving wheel the

difference between the high and low points measured
on either rim ledge shall not exceed 0*045 in
(1*143 mm).
