—Remove and refit

12.60.26

Removing

1. Remove the oil sump. 12.60.44.

2. Slacken and remove the three bolts complete with

washers securing the oil pump to the crankcase.

3. Remove the oil pump complete with cover-plate.

Refitting

4. Reverse instructions 1 to 3, ensuring:

The oil pump drive shaft engages correctly into

the drive gear shaft.

The securing bolts are evenly tightened.

Absolute cleanliness is observed.

1. Isolate the battery.

2. Remove the oil pump from the crankcase. 12.60.26.

3. Remove the cover-plate complete with strainer.

4. Remove the inner rotor and shaft assembly.

5. Remove the outer rotor.
6. Clean oil from the body and rotors, and reassemble.
