To Configure the SMU’s Diagnostic Emails

From the

SMU Administration

page, click

Diagnostic Emails

.

The table below describes the fields on this screen:

Item / Field

Description

Enable Daily Emails

Check this to enable the Daily Status Email report.

Time

Set the time when the emails should be sent. Set the exact time
(hh:mm) in a 24 hour format (i.e. 2:00 P.M. will be set as 14:00).

Send Email From

The host name or other identifier that uniquely identifies the SMU
from which the email will be sent.

Email Subject

Enter an easily recognizable subject line for the Daily Status email
report.

HTML Format

Select to have the status email sent in HTML format. If this is not
selected, emails will be sent in plain text.

Send Emails To

Enter the email addresses of all the recipients.

Monthly BlueArc
Emails

Check to send a monthly diagnostic email to BlueArc. This email will
send a copy of all server, SMU, and storage array configuration to
BlueArc. This information is kept private and will only be referenced
if a service call is placed with BlueArc Global Services.
