Event Logging and Notification

Titan SiliconServer
Using the Event Log
Titan continuously monitors the temperatures, fans, power supply units, and disk drives in
the cabinet. Each time an event occurs (e.g. a disk failure or a possible breach of security, the
system records it in an event log). The event log can be viewed, filtered, and saved as a
permanent record.
The log can contain a maximum of 10,000 events. Once the event log limit has been reached,
each new event replaces the oldest event in the log.
To view and filter the event log
1.
From the
Home
page, click
Status & Monitoring
. Then, click
Event Log.
In a cluster, select the Cluster Node for which to display the log. The default is the first
Cluster Node. To view the other Cluster Node, select from the drop-down list (
Cluster
Nodes
) the other Cluster Node.
