Chapter 3: Installation
2. In the list, click “Edit” for the VoIP line.
3. Set the value for Provider to the new template.
4. Click “Save.”
5. Click “Apply Configuration.”
STEP 5B: Configure port forwarding.
If the connection to the Internet is behind a router or firewall, it will also block access to the VoIP lines. In this case, you will have
to configure port forwarding on any intervening router/firewall. By default, you need to forward UDP ports 5060 and 10000 to
20000. These ports can be changed by selecting System > Network > SIP/RTP in the command center. For details, see Step 3:
Configure port forwarding in the Setting up trunks and lines chapter in the Hybrid PBX and VoIP Gateway Administrator’s Guide.
STEP 5C: Customize the sample IVR.
If you assigned the sample IVR to your incoming call rules, you will likely want to customize it, or replace it with an IVR or your
own design. See the section Configuring incoming call rules in the “Call management” chapter in the Hybrid PBX and VoIP
Gateway Administrator’s Guide.
STEP 5D: Record voicemail messages and set passwords.
Users can record their unavailable/name directory message by dialling 6050. They can also change their voicemail password from
there as well.
