Chapter 3: Installation

STEP 3L: Configure voicemail settings.

In this step, you configure voicemail settings.

Configure the following settings. Click “Next” to continue.

•  Media: Select the auxiliary memory device that will store voicemail. If you did not install auxiliary memory earlier, you can install 

a USB flash drive now and click “Refresh” to discover it.

NOTE: If the memory device needs to be formatted, a Format button will appear. Click it to initialize the device.

NOTE:  If no memory is installed, the Hybrid PBX and VoIP Gateway will store voicemail in its internal memory. See “Obtain auxilia-

ry  
memory” in Section 3.2.1, STEP 1C.

•  Enable Voicemail to Email: If you enable this feature, voicemail messages can be sent to users as wav files (if enabled for a user’s 

account).
